Moscow Shopping: Art and antiques
|
|
If you're looking to buy antiques or original artwork in Moscow, you'll find a rapidly expanding scene, particularly for sales of contemporary art, which have boomed in the last. While visitors are unlikely to find any real bargains in Moscow's savvy antiques market, icons and classic literature are still popular among those who have the money as original souvenirs. Be careful, however, that any artwork, antique, or antiquarian book that you buy is properly certified for export by the vendor.
