• BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Established in 1988, Kovcheg Gallery (meaning Ark Gallery in Russian) is Moscow's premier private gallery specializing in Russian art of the 20th century. The gallery has worked in partnership with major museums throughout Russia, including the Pushkin Museum of Fine Art and the Tretyakov Gallery. Over the years, Kovcheg Gallery has carried out over three hundred art projects, including participation in numerous art shows and fairs in Moscow and internationally. The gallery holds a wide variety of exhibitions, including its ongoing "Unforgotten names" series, in which it presents works by artists who have been unreasonably neglected. All exhibitions are accompanied by attractively produced books available for sale. The gallery is some distance from the centre of Moscow, but should be the first port of call for serious collectors interested in investing in 20th century Russian art.
