At first glance, Globus Gourmet looks to be exorbitantly expensive, with its opulent interior design: shiny steel counters, black walls, and linen lamps. However, prices are surprisingly reasonable, although good quality and gourmet food is never cheap, per se. Globus Gourmet does not see itself as a gourmet boutique, but rather as a grocery store with knowledgeable staff, where customers can buy something for a special occasion or for their everyday needs and discover new delicacies from around the globe. The store's selection includes a varied range of carefully sourced fresh foods - vegetables, fruit, meat, poultry, fish, and cheese - as well as deli items, fresh bread and pastries, and meals prepared in the store like grilled meats, pizza, salads, and other Russian and international foods. There are also selections of organic and eco-friendly foods. There are currently five Globus Gourmet stores across Moscow and one branch in St. Petersburg.
