Train stations

Train Stations in Moscow Moscow's eight major train stations are all close to the center and all next to metro stations, most of which are on the brown circle line. Except for Komsomolskaya metro, which is in between Leningradskiy, Kazanskiy and Yaroslavskiy stations, most metro stations have the same name as the mainline station they serve, with a little change in the ending for grammatical accuracy. Thus Kievskiy Station is connected to Kievskaya metro, etc.

In the unlikely event that your train arrives outside metro opening hours (05.30 to 01.00), then your best bet is to order a taxi in advance, as the capitals stations are not places you want to be hanging around in late at night. Fares from any of these stations to anywhere in the center should cost no more than $10.
