Established in 1826, Yar can reasonably boast of being the oldest restaurant in Russia and has entertained guests from Rasputin to Chuck Norris. Currently, it is affiliated to Moscow's historical Sovietskaya Hotel. The cuisine is high-class European and modern Russian. The lavish interior is classically designed and there is a summer terrace. There are cabaret shows to entertain the guests. Prices are high.
