The first Moscow restaurant to be opened by the hugely successful Franco-Russian restaurateur Andrei Dellos, Bochka (meaning "barrel" in Russian), serves up traditional Russian rustic fare like borscht, pelmeni, bliny, and shashlik. The medieval tavern-like interior is dark and cozy. Every Friday, visitors can witness (and then eat) a whole bull or ram roasted on a spit over an open fire.
